BETA READ: $25 PER 10,000 WORDS
While there are certainly free beta reading options out there, professional beta reading guarantees you a timely and thorough response when looking to gauge your readers' first reactions to your work. I’ll read your entire manuscript and give you concise, summarized feedback through a one to two page beta read letter consisting of your key strengths and areas for growth. You can also provide a few specific questions you’d like feedback on. The service is appropriate for manuscripts 10,000 words or longer, and it is assessed at a charge of 0.25 cents per word. As an example, I would charge $25 for a 10,000 word manuscript, $100 for a 40,000 word manuscript, or $200 for an 80,000 word manuscript.
EDITORIAL ASSESSMENT: $150 PER 10,000 WORDS
This service offers much of the same advice as a Content Edit, but it omits the line by line notes and edits in the manuscript itself, instead providing an editorial letter with ten plus pages of condensed, broad stroke feedback. I’ll analyze big picture issues, suggest next steps for revision, and, at the author's request, provide a recommendation for further editing with a quote for proposed services. Since this option skips the time intensive process of editing your manuscript page by page, you benefit from my macro-level feedback on your entire story while investing significantly less funds than a Content Edit would require.

The service is appropriate for manuscripts 10,000 words or longer, and it is assessed at a charge of 1.5 cents per word. As an example, I would charge $150 for a 10,000 word manuscript, $600 for a 40,000 word manuscript, or $1,200 for an 80,000 word manuscript.
